These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the #memory apps, website, and related services (together, “#memory”), operated by Recall Innovations Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Recall Innovations LTD distributes the apps; Recall Innovations Inc. is its parent company. By using #memory, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

01 / Using #memory

A place for what you want to remember.

#memory lets you save and find notes, keywords, photos, documents, links, and other supported content. The apps are distributed through Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store for Windows. Features, supported devices, and availability may differ by platform, app version, region, and plan.

You may use #memory only where permitted by applicable law, including any requirements for parental consent. If you cannot enter into this agreement on your own, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms and supervise your use. If you use #memory for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf.

02 / Your account

Keep access to your account secure.

Some features, including account-based sync and sharing, require sign-in through a supported provider. Keep your account information accurate, protect your devices and sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for how you use your account and for access you authorize. Do not impersonate another person, use an account without permission, or sell access to your account.

03 / Your content

What you save belongs to you.

You retain the rights you have in your content. Saving something in #memory does not transfer ownership to us. You must have the rights and permissions needed to save, upload, and share it, including where it contains someone else’s personal information.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, transmit, process, and display your content as needed to operate #memory and carry out your choices, including syncing across devices and delivering content to recipients you select. This permission is for providing the service, not an unrestricted right to sell or publish your content.

This permission lasts while we need to provide those functions and handle deletion and retention as described in our Privacy Policy. Copies you chose to share may remain with recipients as explained below.

04 / Sharing & recipients

Sharing has consequences beyond a link.

You decide what to share and which sharing option to use. A public link can be opened or passed on by people who receive it. Invitations, groups, channels, and ongoing shares may give recipients access to updates as well as the content first shared.

Stopping a share does not recall copies already received. Recipients may keep memories and attachments they received or saved, even after you stop sharing or delete your account. Downloaded files cannot be taken back. Some direct attachment links can remain usable after a share ends; see our security page for details.

Receiving content does not transfer its copyright or give you permission to redistribute it beyond the rights its owner grants or the law allows. Do not use sharing to send spam, harass others, or disclose information you are not entitled to share. Report suspected abuse or infringement through our contact page, with enough detail for us to identify the issue.

05 / Acceptable use

Use #memory without harming others.

You must not:

  • Use #memory for unlawful activity, fraud, threats, harassment, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls or plan limits, or disrupt the service.
  • Collect other users’ information without permission or misuse invitations, public links, or connected services.
  • Copy, resell, or reverse engineer our software except where applicable law or an accompanying open-source license permits it.

We may restrict access to content or features when reasonably necessary to address these issues, protect users, or comply with law.

06 / Plans & subscriptions

Know what you are paying for.

#memory offers free and paid features. Your plan may limit the number of memories, attachments, file sizes, or storage. The features, price, currency, billing period, and any offer conditions shown before you confirm a purchase apply to that purchase.

Renewals and cancellation

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through the store or provider that bills you before its renewal deadline. Check your receipt to identify that provider; it may differ from the store where you downloaded the app.

  • Apple-billed subscriptions: manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscriptions; Apple explains how. For Apple trials or promotional periods, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends if you do not want it to renew.
  • Google Play-billed subscriptions: manage or cancel in Google Play’s Payments & subscriptions settings using the Google Account used for the purchase; Google explains how.
  • Microsoft-billed subscriptions: use your Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions page to manage or turn off recurring billing where available; Microsoft provides cancellation guidance. If another provider bills you, use the cancellation route shown on your receipt.

For a paid subscription, cancellation generally stops the next renewal while access continues until the current paid period ends, subject to the store’s terms and any refund or revocation. A trial may end sooner when canceled. Deleting the app or your #memory account does not itself cancel an app-store subscription.

Refunds, offers, and plan changes

Refund eligibility depends on the purchase provider, purchase type, region, and applicable law. Use the route for the provider that billed you: Apple refund requests, Google Play refund options, or Microsoft Store refund guidance. Contact us for help with a purchase, including when the store directs you to the developer. Cancellation does not by itself guarantee a refund. Nothing in these Terms removes a statutory refund or withdrawal right.

A trial, referral reward, discount, or complimentary period is available only when expressly offered, under the conditions shown with it. A complimentary grant is not itself a recurring paid subscription. When paid or complimentary access ends, your account returns to the applicable free-plan limits; this may restrict adding more content or using paid features.

Any future subscription price changes will be communicated through the applicable billing provider and handled with any notice or consent required by law and that provider’s rules.

07 / Connected services

Other services have their own terms.

Sign-in providers, app stores, linked websites, and cloud services you choose to connect operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Only connect accounts and files you are authorized to use.

A saved link is a reference to another resource; its destination may change, become unavailable, or require separate permission or payment. Linked files and connected services may need an internet connection and continuing authorization. We do not control third-party content or guarantee its availability.

08 / Availability & backups

Sync is not a separate backup.

Content already stored locally may be available offline. Sync, sharing, remote attachments, sign-in, and connected services can require a working internet connection. Not every item is necessarily downloaded to every device.

Keep an independent copy of information or files you cannot afford to lose. Sync can propagate changes and deletions, and is not a guarantee that an earlier version can be recovered. Use the save, share, or export options available on your platform to keep copies you need.

We may update #memory or temporarily interrupt features for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. Beta features may be incomplete or change. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. If we discontinue a paid service or materially reduce it during a paid period, your applicable consumer and refund rights still apply.

09 / Privacy

How we handle your information.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, service providers, retention, and your choices. Our security page describes the protections and sharing limitations. These Terms do not replace those disclosures or remove your data-protection rights.

10 / Leaving #memory

You can leave. Keep what you need first.

You can stop using #memory at any time. Delete your account using the account-deletion option in supported apps, or request deletion on our website. Save any content you need before doing so, and separately cancel any recurring subscription with the provider that bills you.

Account deletion removes access to your account and starts removal of its data as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not erase recipients’ copies or independent downloads. Local copies on devices may require separate removal.

We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, a legal requirement, or a genuine security or abuse risk. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it; immediate action may be necessary to protect users or comply with law. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.

Provisions that need to continue after your use ends, including content rights for retained copies, outstanding payment obligations, and applicable limits on liability, continue to apply.

11 / Our software

Permission to use the app, not ownership of it.

We and our licensors retain rights in #memory’s software, branding, and service, apart from your content. Subject to these Terms and applicable store terms, you may use the software to access #memory on supported devices. Separate open-source licenses continue to govern components supplied under them.

The license agreement supplied with the app and the applicable store terms also apply to downloads from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store. For apps obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom agreement is supplied through the store. These service Terms do not replace that app license or override the store’s applicable usage rules.

12 / Responsibility & rights

Your legal protections still apply.

We provide #memory on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including loss of profits or business opportunities.

These limitations apply only where lawful. They do not exclude or restrict rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that cannot be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees and liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law prohibits exclusion.

The mandatory protections of the law where you live remain available to you. Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration or waives your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.

13 / Changes to these terms

Changes should be clear.

We may revise these Terms as #memory or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and its date here. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate channel before they take effect, unless an urgent legal or security reason requires otherwise.

We will obtain consent where required by law. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the service and cancel future subscription renewals. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen or apply retroactively to an existing dispute.

14 / Questions & disputes

Start with a conversation.

For questions, support, complaints, or a dispute about #memory, contact Recall Innovations Inc. at admin@usememory.com or use our contact form. Describe the issue and the account or content involved, without sending passwords or sign-in codes.

Contacting us does not limit your right to seek a legal remedy. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
